Job Description:

Part Time Compliance Manager position at a reputable legal services firm, responsible for leading compliance initiatives and ensuring the firm meets all regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee firm's compliance with SRA Codes of Conduct
Manage anti-money laundering practices
Ensure adherence to GDPR regulations
Record compliance breaches
Handle complaints
Prepare for Lexcel and ISO audits
Support application for Practising Certificates
Oversee renewal of Professional Indemnity insurance

Requirements:

Solid understanding of regulatory framework governing solicitors
Experience in Codes of Conduct and Accounts Rules
Adept at making informed judgments to meet compliance obligations
Comfortable working independently while managing expectations across teams
Strong communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external regulatory bodies

Nice to have:

Experience with LawNet training
Previous experience in legal services compliance
