Representing Alter Domus (Guernsey) Limited (“ADG”) as the corporate compliance officer of Guernsey licensed entities administered by ADG and Holding the MLRO and MLCO functions for such entities, including the preparation and presentation of relevant reporting to the boards of such entities. Undertaking compliance monitoring in accordance with the client compliance monitoring plan (“CMP”) to ensure that ADG and client licensed entities remain compliant with all applicable Guernsey regulatory and AML/CFT requirements. Monitoring the GFSC website, THEMIS and industry sources for the release of revised standards and guidance. Ensuring those updates are brought to the attention of the boards of relevant client entities and other relevant employees. Assisting in maintaining internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with expected standards as the business develops. Preparing and submitting relevant regulatory reporting for licensed entities. Assisting with liaison between ADG and external stakeholders on compliance/AML/CFT matters, such as the GFSC, local authorities and auditors. Assisting in the daily monitoring of the screening system’s output in conducting relevant background searches on clients, investors and other associated parties. Providing support and training to the staff of ADG, as required, in respect of AML/CFT and regulatory matters. Ensuring that client and investor due diligence is collected to the appropriate standards in order to comply with Guernsey’ regulatory and AML/CFT framework and ADG internal policies and procedures. Assisting the Senior Compliance Manager on Alter Domus Group projects as required.

Requirements:
Strong working knowledge of the Guernsey investment regulatory framework and AML/CFT Handbook
5 to 7 years financial services experience, preferably in a Compliance team environment
Preferably have acted in the capacity as Compliance Officer, MLCO, MLRO or Deputy of a GFSC regulated entity
Preferably have completed the International Diploma in Compliance or an equivalent level appropriate qualification or be studying for the same
Possess team spirit, a capacity to build strong relationships and take initiative to act without waiting for direction when appropriate
High level of IT literacy with good Excel and Word skills
