The Regulatory Compliance Manager plays a pivotal role in upholding Vodafone’s commitment to ethical conduct, legal compliance, and the maintenance of trust amongst stakeholders. This position is integral to ensuring that Vodafone Business operates within the bounds of applicable laws and adheres to the highest standards of integrity by ensuring that effective compliance controls are embedded across the organisation and, and for providing practical, risk-based advice on a range of enterprise regulatory matters.
Job Responsibility:
Implement the competition law compliance framework, ensuring appropriate controls, procedures, and guidance are in place and up to date
Partner with various business stakeholders to ensure compliance considerations are embedded into business processes
Monitor and review the effectiveness of compliance controls, escalating issues and recommending enhancements where required
Supporting internal investigations, audits, or regulatory inquiries
Monitor developments in enterprise regulatory frameworks
Review and update existing enterprise regulatory advice as needed
Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and other compliance teams to ensure regulatory requirements are consistently interpreted and applied advice across a broad range of regulatory domains including e.g. data, AI, security and ESG
Requirements:
Experience in reviewing interpreting and advising on regulation (in-house, consultancy, or public sector)
Experience in risk assessment and practices for monitoring and managing risk
Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and cross-cultural communication experience
Fluency in English
Nice to have:
Understanding of control systems and experience in assurance activities
Experience in working in a regulated and multi-jurisdictional environment
Experience of and/or demonstrated interest in tech and telco industries
