You will join our client in Malta as Compliance Manager for the Baltics. This hybrid role places you at the forefront of regulatory compliance for Baltic markets, guiding licensing, policy development, risk assessments, and ongoing licence maintenance across jurisdictions. You will be the organisation’s main adviser on Baltic compliance, building strong relationships with regulators, external advisers, and internal teams. You will shape AML, KYC, RG, fraud, and risk controls as part of a practical, business‑focused compliance programme. You will collaborate across functions to ensure the company meets its obligations, supports responsible gambling, and keeps reporting and audits on track. You will be the trusted go‑to for Baltic compliance matters and help steer policies that balance compliance with business growth.
Job Responsibility:
The licensing process for gambling licences in Baltic markets
Being the main adviser for all matters relating to compliance in Baltic territories
Being proactive to identify, deal with, and escalate non‑compliance to remediation as quickly as possible
Serving as the main contact point with the competent Baltic regulators
Building and maintaining a relationship with the gambling regulators and other relative authorities
Maintaining a close relationship with legal advisers
Timely submission of all reports to the Baltic gambling, tax authorities and other competent authorities
Undertaking the end to end process of performing audits and reviews as and when required
Drafting, managing and maintaining all policies and procedures in the Baltic markets, including AML and RG, and ensuring teams are knowledgeable of the policies
Providing compliance advice, guidance and training to the company and company employees
Requirements:
At least two years of gambling compliance experience in the Baltic markets
Fluency in at least one Baltic language (ideally native) and English
Deep knowledge of Baltic regulations, including AML, consumer law and anti‑money laundering law
Familiarity with the general gambling industry
Nice to have:
Knowledge of poker or the wider iGaming field
