Assists the Group Compliance Director with activities related to corporate compliance model implementation and monitoring, periodic compliance risk assessments and compliance/operational assessments. The role also tracks compliance with all applicable rules and laws, conducts Whistleblowing investigations and proactively participates in other Compliance projects.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in developing and implementing the organization's annual compliance program and work plan
Conduct investigations to address cases reported through the Whistleblowing channel, prepare reports and help implement and monitor any required corrective action to mitigate risks
Preparing management reports to support decision making processes
Perform proactive monitoring / reviewing of potentially high-risk areas, prepare reports and help implement and monitor any action plans
Assist with conducting annual conflict of interest assessment and help implementing and managing the monitoring system
Provide subject matter expertise to the organization
Draft policies, procedures and other regulation required by the Compliance Function
Review and update of the Corporate Criminal Liability model
Support and participate in other projects of the Compliance Function
Proactively looks for functional best practices, spreads knowledge, experience, findings and provides constructive inputs to support the superior in creation and roll-out of the departmental strategy/agenda
Requirements:
University degree – preferably Business Management and or Law
Minimum 5 years of working experience in Compliance and risk Management functions, with experience in whistleblowing channel management and investigations
Exceptional in English and in Hungarian both written and spoken
Experience in Risk & Compliance consulting or Compliance and risks internal functions
Excellent MS Excel skills
Orientation on improving processes and analytical skills
Excellent knowledge and understanding of compliance principles and regulations
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Assertiveness and stress resistance
Willingness and ability to learn and develop
Nice to have:
Experience in Big Four will be an asset
Certifications in Compliance expertise will be an advantage
