Reporting to the Head of Operational Risk, you will support the development of the operational risk strategy and oversight for identifying, assessing, controlling, and reporting operational risks, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulations.
Job Responsibility:
Support delivery of the operational risk strategy and oversight for identifying, assessing, managing and reporting operational risk globally
Lead forward-looking value-add deep dive & 2nd LOD assurance reviews and incident root-cause analysis that drive process and control improvements
Support the development of effective and impactful Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and provide effective and succinct reporting to senior stakeholders and leadership committees
Support the maintenance of a robust, lean and effective Global Risk Management Framework
Support top down and bottom-up risk management processes
Support the LOD leader with their Risk and Control Self-Assessment processes
Be accountable for Operational Risk Oversight on Project, Products, Propositions and strategic initiatives
Mentor and inspire an effective risk culture and ownership
Mentor, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Be a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise and a proven track record of transforming organizations into best-in-class providers
Promote and build Alter Domus' brand and culture both internally and externally
Support the development and engagement of employees at all levels
Requirements:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in Financial Services
A minimum of 7 years in high-performing Risk or Operations teams
Deep technical expertise of Fund Administration, processes and controls
Experience in risk frameworks, risk appetite, control self-assessments, data analysis, reporting tools
Knowledge of establishing insight led provocation through reporting and communication
Experience in leading and delivery of projects with competing demands and an ability to prioritise effectively
Strong interpersonal skills – influencing and building trust quickly, navigating complexity and ambiguity with confidence and negotiating with tenacity and focus
Ability to manage diverse stakeholders ranging from senior leaders to team members
Demonstrate personal resilience in the context of an international company in high-growth mode
Demonstrate superior business insight and commercial acumen combined with strong technical expertise, analytical problem-solving skills
