Prime Life are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Manager to lead and deliver compliance inspections across our residential care services. This is a key role within the organisation, ensuring our services consistently meet and exceed CQC standards, statutory requirements, and internal policies. You will play a crucial part in driving quality assurance improvements, supporting Home Managers, and maintaining excellent standards of care and governance. This is a field-based role covering multiple locations, requiring regular travel and occasional overnight stays.
Job Responsibility
Lead and complete compliance inspections across residential services
Ensure adherence to CQC regulations, legislation, and Prime Life policies
Produce detailed audit reports and action plans following each visit, including mock inspections
Monitor outcomes against inspection criteria and provide actionable feedback
Support Home Managers in meeting regulatory and quality standards
Promote and embed a strong culture of compliance across the organisation
Identify potential risks using analytical insight and provide practical, effective solutions
Deliver a proactive approach to quality assurance to achieve safe and outstanding services
Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across departments
Contribute to the development of the Prime Life compliance tools and systems
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Undertake additional duties and project work as required
Requirements
Proven experience within Health & Social Care, including a compliance-focused role
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and fundamental standards
Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills
Experience in auditing and quality assurance processes
High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical practice
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Strong IT skills (including Excel and Word)
Full UK driving licence
Flexibility to travel and work unsociable hours, including staying away from home
