You are the vital link between innovation and integrity. Partnering with Product and Tech teams, you’ll ensure first-line controls are ironclad and aligned with our global risk appetite. Your mission involves delivering sharp risk-based assurance, staying ahead of AML/CTF trends and leading critical license renewals. You’ll own the risk register and transform complex data into the executive insights that guide our major strategic moves.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead second-line compliance oversight across all business units while mentoring team members to uplift organisational capability
  • Manage multi-jurisdictional obligations including AML/CTF, gaming and privacy while guiding the organisation through regulatory changes and licensing
  • Evaluate first-line control effectiveness through risk-based assurance, thematic reviews and independent challenge of business decisions
  • Oversee compliance risk assessments and deliver strategic reporting to the Board and Executive leadership
  • Manage regulatory audits, inspections and remediation programmes to ensure timely issue resolution
  • Drive continuous improvement of compliance frameworks, policies and culture through active stakeholder engagement

Requirements

  • Significant experience in a second-line compliance oversight role, ideally in online gaming or a similarly regulated industry
  • Extensive experience in working with Governance, Risk & Compliance software (e.g. Vanta)
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, including mentoring, capability uplift, or team leadership
  • Proven experience overseeing compliance across multiple departments and jurisdictions
  • Strong understanding of the three lines of defence model
  • Ability to influence, challenge and lead senior stakeholders with credibility
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including senior-level reporting

  • Experience working with regulators across multiple jurisdictions
  • Exposure to AML/CTF, responsible gambling and advertising frameworks
  • Relevant professional qualification in compliance, risk, law, or governance
  • Sports & Gambling knowledge advantageous
