The Compliance Inspector plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary with designated communities and may include, but are not limited to: Inspecting properties for homeowner compliance issues and accurately recording findings. This role will include general administrative duties and is also part-time 20 hours per week.
Job Responsibility
Perform weekly/monthly inspections by driving throughout property identifying non-compliant matters on homeowner lots
Notify responsible parties of code issues given in writing and electronically
Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues
Investigate and enforce property codes within boundaries
Possibly attend monthly executive session meetings with the community manager
Complete owner letters
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and forms
Knowledge of general maintenance requirements (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)
Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements
Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements
Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level
Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.)
Professional customer service skills
Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player
Time management and time-critical prioritization skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level
High School Diploma or GED required
0 – 3 years of directly related or closely related experience
Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to provide proof of a valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance (vehicle will be provided for inspections)
