Compliance Engineer

• Identify and establish appropriate standards for new product developments
• Liaise and consult with external testing houses to agree on testing processes and administer those tests
• Be responsible for collating and maintaining the technical file
• Make recommendations for improvements or modifications to products and processes as needed
• Focus on establishing compliance of products to Safety and EMC standards
• Take ownership of validation and compliance process
• Manage all new and legacy products through compliance processes

• Knowledge and experience of interpreting and applying Safety and EMC standards
• ONC or HNC qualified or equivalent in electronic/electrical engineering
• Knowledge of circuit boards at component level
• Background in compliance, validation, quality or testing environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to describe and instruct testing houses, interpret data and report internally
• Maintain current knowledge of standards and compliance engineering practices

Specific understanding of EN61010
