Job Description

We are currently seeking a Compliance Consultant with AML, FCC experience to work with our global fintech client.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and enhance the financial crime compliance (FCC) framework for Singapore, adapting and implementing the global standards locally
  • Set and track goals for the FCC team, ensuring clear responsibilities and strong performance
  • Handle day‑to‑day AML regulatory interactions, including inspections, examinations, and ad hoc requests from supervisors
  • Act as a key point of contact for regulators, banks, payment schemes, and other external partners on FCC/AML matters
  • Oversee core AML/FCC activities, such as enhanced due diligence, review/escalation of screening alerts, and preparation of suspicious matter reports
  • Provide practical, risk-based compliance advice to commercial and operations teams, and help remediate findings from audits and regulatory reviews
  • Support regular governance and reporting to senior management (e.g., key metrics and risk indicators) and help maintain effective internal controls and procedures

Requirements

  • 3–10 years of experience in AML/FCC or regulatory compliance, preferably within financial services or fintech or professional firms
  • Prior exposure to Singapore AML/CFT requirements (e.g., MAS guidelines/notices) is an asset
  • Hands-on experience with BAU AML tasks (e.g. CDD/EDD, name screening, alerts handling, STR/SMR drafting or support)
  • Some experience in dealing with regulators or supporting regulatory examinations is an advantage but not essential
  • Able to prepare clear documentation and liaise with internal stakeholders
