Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Group Compliance Business Partner to join our Compliance team in Hungary. This role is pivotal in safeguarding VOIS against material risks by ensuring robust compliance frameworks and financial crime controls across Vodafone Group Services Limited (VGSL) and Vodafone Business (VB). Operating within a regulated, central oversight and local implementation matrix, the individual will collaborate with global markets, influence senior stakeholders, and foster a culture of integrity and compliance. This position also includes acting as the Group Compliance Manager for VGSL, with responsibilities for risk assessments and control implementation.

Job Responsibility

  • Strategic Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, embedding compliance frameworks and integrity into daily operations
  • Risk Monitoring & Assessment: Conduct risk assessments for VGSL and monitor market-level risk management using data, reports, and insights
  • Policy Implementation: Drive the rollout of Group-wide compliance policies, ensuring alignment with local regulatory requirements
  • Third-Party Risk Oversight: Provide expert guidance on financial crime risks related to third-party engagements
  • Cross-Market Collaboration: Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across markets, addressing cultural and regulatory nuances
  • Training & Awareness: Design and deliver tailored training programmes to strengthen compliance capabilities and promote ethical practices
  • Regulatory Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate submissions to regulatory bodies in line with Group standards
  • Innovation & Improvement: Stay ahead of regulatory trends and support the integration of innovative compliance technologies and tools

Requirements

  • Experienced in compliance advisory roles, ideally with exposure to multiple jurisdictions
  • Strong understanding of Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC), sanctions, and trade controls
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence senior leaders and navigate diverse cultural contexts
  • Analytical thinker with a strategic mindset and the ability to interpret complex data to inform decision-making
  • Excellent communicator, capable of translating complex compliance concepts into clear, actionable insights
  • Holds a relevant compliance and ethics qualification (e.g., ICA, SCCE) – desirable but not essential
