We are looking for a Risk, Compliance and Claims Manager with paralegal expertise to join our client's team in Scottsdale, Arizona. In this role, you will collaborate with legal and cross-functional teams to proactively identify, evaluate, and address risks across a dynamic national franchise organization. This position is integral to supporting compliance programs, managing claims, and ensuring effective responses to regulatory and operational challenges.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with legal and business teams to assess risks associated with new initiatives, transactions, and strategic business activities
  • Provide expert risk management advice on franchising operations, enterprise partnerships, buybacks, and emerging programs
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of corporate, franchise, and healthcare compliance programs
  • Monitor regulatory updates and translate requirements into actionable strategies for internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including patient privacy, data security, and industry standards
  • Participate in the organization’s cybersecurity incident response and broader enterprise risk management efforts
  • Investigate and resolve patient injury claims and other risk-related issues
  • Support litigation and dispute resolution processes by coordinating with internal teams, insurers, and external counsel
  • Manage insurance programs, oversee claims coordination, and maintain accurate corporate records

Requirements

  • Proven experience in enterprise risk management, preferably within a franchise or healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, including patient privacy and data security standards
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling healthcare claims and insurance claims
  • Familiarity with franchising operations and compliance requirements
  • Ability to monitor and interpret regulatory changes and implement necessary actions
  • Solid experience in litigation support, including coordination with legal teams and external counsel
  • Strong organizational skills to manage insurance programs and maintain detailed records
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities to work effectively across teams
