Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Greenville, South Carolina. This position requires expertise in compliance, fraud investigation, and banking processes to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and to address fraudulent activities effectively. This is an onsite role, offering a great opportunity to contribute to critical compliance operations.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct thorough investigations into fraudulent activities and identity theft cases
track and document instances of fraud or theft, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date
prepare, review, and process affidavits related to compliance and fraud issues
perform detailed research to support compliance initiatives and fraud resolutions
collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflows within compliance functions
maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance-related activities and findings
follow up on unresolved fraud cases, ensuring timely and effective resolutions
support the Compliance Manager by addressing priority tasks and assisting with day-to-day operations
ensure banking and compliance practices align with regulatory standards

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in compliance, fraud investigation, or a related banking field
strong knowledge of compliance procedures and documentation practices
proven ability to investigate and resolve fraud and identity theft cases
excellent research and analytical skills to support compliance functions
proficiency in preparing affidavits and handling sensitive documentation
ability to work onsite in Greenville, South Carolina, as part of a collaborative team
strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
effective communication skills to liaise with team members and external parties
