Reporting to the Compliance Lead based in Singapore, you will be part of a global team of compliance professionals, ensuring regional operations align with global and local regulatory standards and internal corporate policies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Regularly evaluate and update compliance policies procedures to maintain alignment with evolving regulatory and industry-specific requirements
  • Conduct rigorous screening of global counterparties and supply chains to identify and escalate potential regulatory or sanction-related risks
  • Coordinate the development of learning management systems and facilitate specialized training sessions to enhance organizational compliance awareness and build a strong culture of ethics and integrity
  • Support internal and external audit processes while monitoring key compliance indicators to provide strategic updates to senior leadership

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field with at least 3 years experience in a risk management, internal controls, or corporate compliance function
  • Strong technical and practical knowledge of international regulatory frameworks in the maritime industry, especially in anti-bribery, anti-corruption, anti-money laundering and global sanctions laws
  • Proactive, independent, driven and meticulous with a proven ability in prioritizing competing deadlines
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively partner with cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate compliance training sessions
