Job Description

Manager role within the EUI Compliance Department's Compliance Advice Team, providing customer-focused regulatory advice, guidance, and support across all UK Insurance Functions to ensure good outcomes for customers and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide advice, guidance, direction, and interpretation on FCA regulatory requirements and developments
  • Ensure both conduct and regulatory risks are fully considered for all new developments, product enhancements, and product reviews
  • Offer compliance oversight and support on key regulatory projects
  • Provide compliance support through attending key meetings and deputises for Senior Manager as required
  • Collaborate with colleagues and establish and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Support the wider team and act as a mentor to other team members
  • Independently lead complex reviews with minimal oversight

Requirements

  • 3-5 years compliance advice experience ideally within General Insurance
  • In depth understanding of the Financial Conduct Authority regulatory framework and good experience of all areas of the Insurance Industry
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Customer-focused with excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Attention to detail, with an analytical mindset
