Job Description:

A national plaintiffs’ law firm with a strong reputation for high-stakes litigation is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its growing Tampa, Florida office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is motivated, detail-oriented, and interested in meaningful plaintiff-side work. The firm focuses on complex, multi-defendant litigation on behalf of individuals and families who have suffered serious illness. Matters frequently involve extensive discovery, significant motion practice, and trial preparation, with cases often resulting in substantial recoveries for clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Case investigation and factual development
  • Managing written discovery and document review
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
  • Preparing cases for trial and participating in trial proceedings
  • Frequent client interaction

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience, including trial experience
  • Member of the Florida Bar in good standing

Nice to have:

  • Prior litigation experience, including motion practice, discovery, and depositions
  • Judicial clerkship experience is welcomed
  • Prior experience in complex litigation is helpful but not mandatory
