Job Description:

Justteachers is supporting a special needs school in Towcester that works with pupils with complex learning and medical needs. A dedicated Teaching Assistant is required after February half term on a full‑time, long‑term basis.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support pupils with complex learning and physical needs
  • Assist with personal care and mobility where required
  • Follow therapy plans from physiotherapists and speech therapists
  • Use sensory resources to support engagement
  • Promote communication, independence, and wellbeing

Requirements:

  • Experience with complex needs or personal care
  • Understanding of SEN and safeguarding
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Two references from the last 2 years
