Job Description:

A specialist school in Towcester is seeking a caring Support Assistant to work with pupils with complex physical and learning needs. This full-time role starts ASAP and is ongoing. The role could be ongoing for the right candidate.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support pupils with personal care and mobility
  • Assist with physiotherapy and sensory programmes
  • Use specialist equipment safely
  • Promote communication and engagement
  • Work closely with medical and therapy teams

Requirements:

  • Experience with complex needs or care work essential
  • Comfortable with personal care
  • Training in moving & handling desirable
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – non negotiable
  • Two recent, relevant references – non negotiable

Nice to have:
