This has resulted in his lungs collapsing which he had upper and lower airway stents fitted. This little boy has Critical Subglottic Stenosis and Tracheomalacia PDA. The support this little boy requires is trache and peg management, also medications. He loves to go to school which he is in a mainstream school setting, he likes to have his identity maintained, attending social events, but most importantly supported to live a happy and fulfilling life. He is a happy and content little boy who likes to be reassured. You'll support his health needs while encouraging safe self-feeding and promoting independence wherever possible. During the school day, you’ll help him engage fully in classroom and social activities, whether he's playing with his favourite toy cars, learning with classmates, or spending time with friends.
