Job Description:

We are looking for a friendly and communicative Complex Care Assistant to support a client with a spinal cord injury in a home-based setting. The client has a great sense of humour and enjoys playing computer games, watching movies, and engaging in conversation with staff, so someone who is personable, reliable, and shares similar interests would be ideal. Good communication skills are essential, and while experience in complex care is preferred, training can be provided for the right person.

Job Responsibility:

Support a client with a spinal cord injury in a home-based setting

Requirements:

Friendly and communicative
Plenty of care, compassion and resilience
Good communication skills
Personable
Reliable
Flexible to cover days and nights
Able to work every other weekend
Must be able to work at least 2 shifts per week

Nice to have:

Experience in complex care
Shares similar interests to client (computer games, movies, conversation)
