Job Description:

Join Alcedo Care as a Complex Care Assistant in Wigan, Leigh and Leyland. You'll join our amazing team delivering quality care, making a real difference by enriching lives and supporting independence within your local community. The Complex Care Assistant Role at Alcedo Care involves delivering high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex health needs. You'll be fully supported with expert training and competency sign-off from our in-house team of Registered Nurses and our training team, giving you the confidence to excel in your role.

Job Responsibility:

Delivering high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex health needs, including spinal injuries, respiratory conditions, and neurological disorders
Providing specialist care such as PEG, suction and tracheostomy support
Assisting with medication, mobility, meal preparation, and household tasks
Empowering independence and creating moments of joy
Enriching lives and supporting independence within the local community

Requirements:

At least 3 months of hands-on care experience in a UK care setting or family support
Must be female (genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010)
Must support female clients, including providing transport and working in situations involving privacy, dignity and safeguarding considerations
