We are seeking an experienced Complex Care Assistant to provide dedicated 2:1 support for a client in their own home. The role involves caring for an individual with a tracheostomy, ventilator support requirements, and a spinal condition including autonomic dysreflexia (AD). This role requires confidence in delivering high-quality respiratory and clinical care, while building a consistent, trusting relationship with the client and their family. You will be fully supported by our in-house Registered Nurses and specialist training team, with client-specific training and competency sign-off provided.
Job Responsibility:
Tracheostomy care and suctioning
Ventilator monitoring and support
Respiratory observations and escalation
Medication support
Personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks
Promoting independence, dignity, and safety at all times
Requirements:
At least 3 months' hands-on care experience in a UK care setting or family support role
Confidence working with complex and clinical needs (tracheostomy/vent experience preferred
training provided if not client-specific)
A compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
