Job Description:

Join Alcedo Care South Lakes as a Complex Care Assistant supporting a Gentleman in his own home in Kirkby Stephens. You will help promote the gentleman’s independence, dignity and quality of life, offering reassurance and companionship.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex health needs (spinal injuries, respiratory conditions, neurological disorders)
  • Carrying out clinical tasks (manual cough assist, digital stimulation for bowel management, postural and spinal support, PEG care, tracheostomy care)
  • Providing assistance with continence, medication, mobility, meal preparation, household tasks
  • Promoting independence, dignity and quality of life
  • Offering reassurance and companionship

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of hands-on care experience in a UK care setting
  • Must be aged 18 or over
  • Subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references
