Job Description:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Healthcare Assistant to provide overnight care for a 7-year-old child with complex medical needs in their home in Sevenoaks. This role involves Tracheostomy Care and PEG Feeding and ensuring the child’s comfort and well-being throughout the night. This is a home-based role, working closely with the child’s family and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, person-centred care.

Job Responsibility:

PEG tube feeding and management
Tracheostomy Care and Suctioning
Offer compassionate care
Oxygen therapy
Monitor and respond to any changes in the child’s condition
Administer medications as per care plan
Ensure the child is safe, comfortable, and settled throughout the night
Maintain clear and accurate care records

Requirements:

Right to work in the UK
Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
At least 6 months of personal care experience (home care, hospital, or care home)
DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one
Basic Life Support and Moving/Handling training
Two professional references
