Job Description:

Join us as a Complex Care Assistant and expand your skills with full training and clinical support in areas such as ventilation support, PEG feeding, catheter care, bowel management, moving and handling equipment and medication administration.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting a lady with a multitude of complex care needs
  • Supporting with personal care (bed bath)
  • Moving & handling via hoist
  • Administering PEG feeds for medication and nutrients
  • Escorting her out of the house
  • Assisting her mobility via chair

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a complex care assistant role is not essential
  • Experience in PEG feeding
  • Experience in Ventilation Support (C-Pap)
  • Experience in Catheter Care
  • Experience in Bowel Management
  • Experience in Medication Administration
  • Experience in Moving & Handling Equipment
  • Experience with Challenging Behaviour
