Job Description:

Here at Alcedo Care, we are looking for Complex Care Assistants to provide outstanding care within the Leyland area, with full training will be provided by our in-house Complex Care Team. We are looking for kind, caring & compassionate people to provide outstanding care in your local area and become an Alcedo Complex care Assistant. Whether you have care experiences in the NHS as a care assistant or nursing; previously worked in nursing home; been a care assistant in the community; private carer for a family member; we offer full training and support for the role.

Job Responsibility:

Complex sit for a young girl with Battens disease around the Leyland area, providing care for the individual in their own home, which is fully adapted to their needs
All shifts will be a 2 – 1 basis
PEG FEEDS
SUCTION
NEBULISERS
SATURATION MONITORING
OBSERVATION MONITORING
SEIZURE MONITORING
MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION VIA PEG
PERSONAL CARE
ATTENDING HOSPITAL VISITS WITH MUM

Requirements:

At least 6 months Care within a UK care setting
A full UK drivers licence with access to your own vehicle
Ideally experience working within Clinical Complex Care, but this is not essential as we will provide you with full training
Highly empathetic with excellent motivational and nurturing skills

Nice to have:

Ideally experience working within Clinical Complex Care
