Job Description:

We’re looking for a skilled CompEx Electrician to join our client’s MEICA and Capital Maintenance team at M Group. You’ll be working alongside our client’s ATEX and Electrical Services Teams, predominately within the water industry, but also in the Energy and Manufacturing industries.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carrying out a range of electrical installations and maintenance projects in hazardous areas, all in accordance with BS7671: 18th Edition and BS60079, whilst ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Working alongside our established team of experts, which means you will receive a wide range of industry help and support

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of ATEX zones and hazardous areas
  • Working knowledge of a wide range of Ex protection concepts, including but not limited to: Ex d – flameproof, Ex e - Increased Safety and Ex i - Intrinsic Safety
  • CompEx Ex01 & ndash Ex04 (Gas & Vapours)
  • Completed an NVQ Level 3 (Maintenance or Installation)
  • Completed 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regs and City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection and Testing
  • Industrial experience
