Job Description:

Internship to gain hands-on experience in strategic analysis and competitive intelligence within the rapidly evolving obesity treatment landscape. Help monitor external market dynamics and provide insights that inform Kailera’s strategic decisions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Track competitor activities, regulatory updates, and emerging innovations in obesity treatment
  • Prepare and distribute timely alerts on relevant news developments to senior leadership
  • Analyze competitor earnings calls and highlight key takeaways and strategic implications
  • Develop a comprehensive document summarizing major themes in the obesity market and propose strategic recommendations for Kailera
  • Maintain and update competitive intelligence trackers and databases

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate student currently pursuing a degree in Life Sciences, Business, Economics, or related field
  • Strong interest in biotech, pharmaceuticals, and obesity treatment innovation
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Bachelor’s degree candidates who have completed 2+ years and are pursuing a degree in life sciences or business
