The Competence Center Manager in Cybersecurity will oversee multiple teams, ensuring project performance and compliance with security standards. Job Responsibility

  • Management of multiple teams within Competence Center ensuring smooth operation of projects
  • Coordinates administrative aspects of the team including allocation in projects, performance evaluations, quality improvements
  • Support escalation of complex technical issues when needed
  • Oversee the career paths for the entire CC including professional development, building learning paths, setting targets and objectives for increasing team proficiency
  • Complete ownership of the assigned Competence Center, including the creation, support, and implementation of the Competence Center strategy
  • Collaborate with business development teams to understand new opportunities and map internal capabilities to client requirements
  • Responsible for the project performance for individuals within the teams
  • Maintain high standards and ensure strong overall performance of the teams
  • Develop and present security metrics, team capacity, strategy roadmaps and risk evaluation to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual security requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or MSSP environment
  • Minimum of 2 years in a leadership or coordination role
  • Strong knowledge of core MSSP offerings such as Security Monitoring, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and Compliance
  • A professional certification in CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
  • Proven experience managing security teams for large-scale IT projects
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, and GDPR
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English

Nice to have

  • An advanced degree such as a Master’s in Cybersecurity, MBA with a focus on Information Security, or equivalent
  • ITIL or project management certifications (e.g., PMP)
