Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Compensation Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Chanhassen, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a key part in standardizing job descriptions and establishing clear salary bands for various positions across multiple platforms. Your expertise in job analysis and market pricing will drive consistency and accuracy in organizational compensation practices.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create detailed and standardized job descriptions for positions across platform partners
  • Collect key information using Job Analysis Questionnaires (JAQs) provided by HR Business Partners
  • Ensure uniformity in formatting, language, and structure for all job descriptions
  • Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition teams to conduct market pricing and benchmarking for roles upon request
  • Provide support for classification initiatives by collaborating with internal subject matter experts
  • Utilize compensation tools, such as Payfactors, to incorporate benchmarking data into job descriptions
  • Leverage the Enterprise AI tool for research and drafting job descriptions as it becomes available
  • Track progress, maintain documentation, and update completion statuses for the project

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and standardizing job descriptions for large organizations or multi-platform environments
  • Proficiency in job analysis methods and familiarity with classification standards
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience using compensation tools like Payfactors or similar systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to adapt writing styles to organizational needs
  • Solid understanding of market pricing processes and compensation benchmarking
  • Proficiency in office productivity tools for documentation and project tracking
