Job Description:

Experienced Compensation Executive to lead the design, development and implementation of effective and competitive compensation strategies, plans, programs, and controls to support business strategies across multiple lines of business. This role reports directly to the Head of Total Rewards and leads a team of compensation managers, consultants, and associates responsible for administering compensation programs, policies and practices.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the design, development and implementation of effective and competitive compensation strategies, plans, programs, and controls
  • Provide vision and set direction for multiple high impact initiatives and teams
  • Collaborate with peers and the compensation delivery team to develop highly complex, multi-year projects, strategies, goals, and business ventures
  • Provide thought leadership to develop and implement strategic solutions
  • Drive business results by defining compensation strategies, establishing policies and standards, designing functional and discretionary incentive programs
  • Assess and anticipate changes in internal and external compensation environment
  • Partner with Human Resources stakeholders to initiate best practices and process improvements
  • Manage, implement and recommend improvements to compensation policies, standards, incentive design and processes
  • Provide guidance and counsel to executive management at the Operating Committee level
  • Lead a team of managers and experienced professionals
  • Develop long term, high risk strategies in order to achieve business objectives
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Compensation
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of Compensation experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of Management experience
  • 10+ years of directly relevant and recent experience in a large corporate, multi-business or line organization in Human Resources, Compensation and/or Executive Compensation
  • Compensation or finance knowledge and understanding of regulatory and legal issues relating to compensation administration
  • Demonstrated background and successful progression of managing compensation programs
  • Highly effective consultative leader with credibility and strong business and data driven acumen
  • Excellent consulting, influencing, collaboration and partnering abilities with business executives/leaders and HR partners
  • Proven success in building and leading a diverse team of high performing professionals
  • Demonstrated ability to set strategic vision and effectively align resources to deliver results
  • Superb collaboration skills across multiple levels and functions
  • Experience with leading large scale system change
  • Proven ability to successfully execute initiatives, manages projects, and drive for results
  • Experience working in large, complex, dynamic organizations with multiple business groups and broad geographic reach
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Master's degree in Business, HR or a related field
