Administer day-to-day employee benefit programs across health, retirement, life, disability, and related offerings through Workday and partner systems
Examine benefits invoices for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with finance and accounts payable to ensure timely processing and proper allocation
Support annual enrollment activities by preparing materials, updating elections, and helping organize employee information sessions
Partner with third-party administrators and insurance carriers to address enrollment issues, billing concerns, and participant questions
Maintain organized and accurate benefits records while protecting sensitive employee information in line with privacy standards
Track eligibility for part-time and variable-hour employees to help ensure benefit offers are issued within required timeframes
Respond to employee inquiries by explaining benefit options, coverage details, and administrative processes in a clear and thorough manner
Contribute to special assignments and related benefits projects as business needs arise
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in benefits administration or a similar human resources role
Practical experience using Workday for benefits-related processes and employee records management
Working knowledge of applicable federal and state benefits regulations, including leave and healthcare compliance requirements
Strong ability to collaborate with benefit vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with benefits platforms and reporting tools
Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex benefits information to employees
High attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
