We are looking for a skilled Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing employee compensation and benefits programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Job Responsibility:
Administer and oversee employee benefit programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
Conduct detailed analyses of compensation structures to maintain competitive and equitable pay practices
Coordinate benefit enrollment processes and address employee inquiries regarding benefits
Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, such as FMLA and related regulations
Collaborate with HR and management teams to develop strategies for optimizing compensation and benefits offerings
Maintain accurate records and documentation of compensation and benefits data
Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing benefits packages based on employee feedback and market trends
Provide guidance and training to employees on understanding and utilizing their benefits
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to leadership
Research and stay updated on industry trends to ensure the organization remains competitive in its offerings
Requirements:
Proven experience in compensation and benefits administration or a related field
Strong knowledge of benefits coordination and analysis, including FMLA regulations
Familiarity with industry standards and trends in compensation and benefits
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to communicate complex information effectively to employees and management
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
Experience working in the amusement, recreation, or entertainment industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred
