We are looking for a skilled Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our team in Racine, Wisconsin. In this role, you will oversee and optimize employee benefit programs, ensuring they align with organizational goals while remaining cost-effective and compliant. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to strategic planning and the management of comprehensive benefits initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Administer and manage employee benefit programs, including healthcare, dental, vision, retirement plans, and disability coverage
Collaborate with brokers, vendors, and legal teams to design and update benefit plans and documentation
Provide regular reporting on benefit program costs and present strategies for improving cost efficiency
Organize and execute events such as wellness fairs, flu clinics, and retirement planning sessions
Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and assist with resolving issues related to coverage or claims
Monitor and reconcile benefit accounts, ensuring accurate billing and data integrity
Conduct audits and assist with financial reviews to maintain compliance with regulations and organizational policies
Partner with the IT department to enhance benefit system integrations and ensure accurate data processing
Stay informed about changes in benefit-related laws and regulations, advising management on necessary adjustments
Update and distribute employee benefit materials and communications to ensure clarity and accessibility
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits management
Proficiency in administering various benefit programs, including wellness plans and FMLA
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate and optimize benefit plans
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective employee and vendor interactions
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and database management systems
Ability to safeguard confidential information and handle sensitive data responsibly
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with benefit-related regulations and compliance requirements
