Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Compensation & Benefits Analyst support one of our clients in Santa Clara, CA. In this contract position, you will play a pivotal role in handling compensation and benefits operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong operational focus and expertise in sales compensation and benefits administration.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage benefits reporting, reconciliations, and resolve employee inquiries to ensure accurate deductions and compliance
  • Administer sales compensation plans, including calculations, payouts, and adjustments, while ensuring timely execution
  • Create and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and performance summaries related to sales compensation
  • Validate sales data, quotas, and crediting to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Address commission-related inquiries, conduct audits, and resolve issues efficiently
  • Identify and implement process improvements for sales compensation and reporting workflows
  • Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure seamless data integration and accurate payments
  • Work closely with finance and business partners to fulfill data requests and provide analytical insights
  • Summarize and present findings from job analysis and compensation reviews to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and/or benefits roles with a strong operational focus
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, finance, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail
  • Proficiency in reporting and attention to detail are essential
  • Experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries is highly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Xactly software is required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

Familiarity with other compensation systems is a plus
