Reporting to the Manager, Compensation, the Compensation Analyst supports the broader Total Rewards team in designing, maintaining, and delivering industry leading compensation programs that enable Four Seasons’ strategic priorities and elevate the employee experience. This role requires a proactive, service-oriented approach to partnering with Corporate Office stakeholders and Hotel People & Culture and Finance teams, while also coordinating with external consultants and vendors. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a curiosity for understanding the “why” behind compensation decisions. They will contribute to the effective administration, consistent application, and ongoing improvement of compensation processes, tools, and programs across the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct job evaluations and compensation analyses to support talent attraction, retention, and labor budgeting
Maintain related files and documentation
Lead Four Seasons participation in industry‑specific compensation surveys by partnering with external consultants and internal stakeholders on data collection, validation, and submission
Produce and distribute custom survey results
Coordinate with external consultants to support Four Seasons participation in corporate market surveys and ensure global corporate roles have reliable market data for competitive pay analysis
Prepare data, validate inputs, and support key process steps for the merit, annual incentive, and long‑term incentive processes
Partner with external vendors to support compensation program administration, including global mobility, tax services, and related invoices and contracts
Maintain data accuracy across Workday and compensation tools by running scheduled reports and audits
Support system updates as required
Conduct market research and produce ad hoc analytics, reports, and insights that inform compensation program decisions and improvements
Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in compensation analysis, design, and/or administration
Strong foundation in compensation fundamentals gained through formal education or relevant work experience
Strong foundation in compensation benchmarking and data analysis
Experience with Workday and Workday’s Compensation module preferred
Proactive and resourceful problem‑solver with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet time‑sensitive deadlines
Excellent attention to detail, along with strong organizational, planning, and research skills
Strong customer‑service orientation and excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to respond to stakeholder inquiries professionally and effectively across all levels of management and global employee groups
