The Compensation Analyst is responsible for performing analysis in support of SiriusXM compensation programs. This role will also support the Compensation Team with all aspects of compensation administration and assist with special projects.
Job Responsibility:
Assist with various compensation programs such as base pay administration and short- and long-term incentive plans, analysis, data modeling, and costing of pay programs
Perform analysis of both internal and external data to evaluate trends and marketplace information
Partner with recruiting, People + Culture Business Partners, and management in evaluating jobs and benchmarking new hire and ongoing compensation against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges
Prepare and present summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information
Review and process Workday Compensation transactions
ensure employee changes are processed accurately and timely
Run Workday data audit reports
make corrections based on compensation eligibility rules
Keep appraised of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations in order to ensure company compliance and oversee ongoing FLSA reviews
Provide research on compensation related questions and workday issues
escalate higher level compensation issues and concerns
Support the Compensation team with all aspects of the various compensation cycles and assists in other projects as required
May participate in special compensation projects on an ad hoc basis
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
3-5 years of related experience
Experience with automation and/or AI tools such as chatGPT and Gemini
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Flexible, team and customer-service oriented with the ability to work cross-functionally
Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines with excellent attention to detail
Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
Strong computer skills required and should be knowledgeable of: v-lookups, formulas, if statements, pivot tables
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Workday experience a plus
Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods
