The Compensation Analyst will provide analytical and operational support to the Total Rewards function, contributing to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of global compensation practices. This role will partner closely with the People Function, Finance, and business leaders to ensure that compensation structures are competitive, fair, and aligned with organizational goals. The position plays a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making by analyzing compensation data, maintaining salary structures, and contributing to the development of job frameworks and pay policies. Job Responsibility:
Analyze internal and external compensation data to support benchmarking and pay decisions
Prepare reports and insights for the People Function and business leaders
Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve pay consistency and equity
Create and support maintenance of salary bands across roles and levels and countries
Analyze market benchmarks and internal data to ensure competitive positioning
Assist in modelling scenarios for compensation reviews and adjustments
Support the development, maintenance and improvement of the Werfen Job Framework and role leveling structures
Assist in job evaluations to ensure alignment with appropriate levels and compensation ranges
Ensure consistency and accuracy of job and compensation data across systems and documentation
Work with compensation surveys and benchmarking tools
Maintain clean, accurate, and structured compensation datasets
Develop and improve analytical models and reports (primarily using Excel or Google Sheets)
Partner with People Business Partners and People Operations teams
Support compensation cycles, including annual review processes
Contribute to the development of scalable and standardized compensation practices
Requirements:
2–5 years of experience in Compensation, Total Rewards, HR Analytics, or Reward Consulting
Experience working with salary data, benchmarking, salary range building and compensation analysis
Background in consulting or corporate HR is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good Excel / Google Sheets capabilities
Ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights
High attention to detail, data accuracy, and confidentiality
Ability to work with structured frameworks and data models
Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable mindset
Exposure to job architecture and role leveling frameworks
Experience with compensation survey providers (e.g., Radford, Mercer, WTW)
Familiarity with HRIS or people analytics tools
Nice to have:
