We’re hiring a Compensation Analyst to support a fast-paced Investment Banking team. This role is heavily focused on compensation analytics, offer strategy, and market alignment, supporting high-touch, complex hiring decisions in a competitive environment.
Job Responsibility
Analyze compensation data using advanced Excel to support hiring and pay decisions
Partner with recruiting and business leaders on offer creation, structuring, and approvals, including complex packages and buyouts
Conduct market benchmarking and job matching to ensure competitive and equitable offers
Translate data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders (Excel, PowerPoint, or executive summaries)
Support year-end compensation cycles and ongoing compensation planning
Validate data accuracy and identify inconsistencies to ensure precision in compensation decisions
Requirements
~6+ years of compensation experience, ideally in financial services
Strong analytical and Excel skills (critical)
Experience working with market data, surveys, and compensation structures
Proven ability to influence offer decisions with data-driven insights
