Reporting to the T&I Riser lead – The Dive support vessel (DSV) Company Site Representative (CSR) is responsible for all Subsea and Diving Construction related works and acts as the Company Representative for the supervision and field acceptance of the offshore installation works on behalf of COMP3 T&I Project Team. The CSR must ensure objectives are met in accordance with the approved procedures and schedule, and that all works are executed in accordance with project safety and quality standards applicable.
Job Responsibility:
Reports to: Transportation & Installation Lead (Riser)
As Offshore Company Site Representative, manage offshore Diving and Subsea Construction works for Company, ensuring technical objectives, scope, schedule and quality are met, while effectively coordinating with PMT, VMT, MWS, and contractors
Function as Site Focal Point, promoting Safety Leadership and overseeing safe work execution by reviewing contractor documents and submittals to ensure compliance with the EPC contract requirements
Attend HAZID/Risk Assessment/project technical review session with Company, CONTRACTOR/SUB-CONTRACTOR
Inspect and audit all marine vessels, including vessel suitability for the assigned work scope(s) and consult with Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS)
Verify operational status of installation equipment, vessels and personnel on a day-to-day basis involved in the field works performed
Function as Company’s Area Operator (AO) onboard CTR vessels in compliance with PTW process
Set up and manage daily meetings with Company field personnel, CONTRACTOR/SUBCONTRACTOR and call specific ‘ad hoc’ meetings as required
Assessing and auditing contractors’ documentation in regard to HSES, QA/QC, Marine, Environmental and Project Execution
Ensure technical aspects of the Risk Management Plan are managed effectively and review and approve design changes, coordinate all changes to installation specifications and exceptions are in accordance with the Project Management of Change (PMOC) processes
Ensure close coordination within Company project team on all engineering, method of statement, constructability and installation matters
Requirements:
Diploma in Engineering
Offshore Training certifications from the recognized industry accredited bodies
OPITO certification H2S and T-BOSIET are a requirement
12+ years of experience in offshore subsea installation discipline
At least 8 years demonstrated experience in a supervisory role in diving related works
Minimum as a field engineer serving onboard DSV’s for major capital projects
Experience in an Offshore Installation & Construction Supervisory Role with Client, EPCI contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry
Worldwide experience with contractors in particular those involved in the Offshore production facilities
Application and in-depth knowledge of stakeholder specifications and a working knowledge of Industry standards
A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English
Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications
Ability to work on or be based on a platform or vessel
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT
