Job Responsibility:
Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013, and other applicable regulations
Prepare, maintain, and update statutory registers, records, and returns
Organize and manage board meetings, annual general meetings, and committee meetings, including drafting notices, agendas, and minutes
File necessary documents with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) and Registrar of Companies (RoC)
Provide legal support and advice on corporate governance, contracts, and regulatory compliance
Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, contracts, and legal documents
Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities as needed
Handle filings related to SEBI, FEMA, RBI, and other regulatory bodies (if applicable)
Ensure timely compliance with tax laws, labor laws, and industry-specific regulations
Assist in due diligence and documentation for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate actions
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal and corporate matters
Provide administrative support to the legal and compliance teams as required
Requirements:
Qualified Company Secretary (CS) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
Law degree (LLB) is highly desirable

Strong understanding of the Companies Act, 2013, SEBI guidelines, and other Indian regulatory frameworks

Ability to multitask and manage time effectively under deadlines
