Job Description:

This role involves assisting in corporate governance, handling company filings, maintaining statutory registers and records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The assistant will collaborate with the Chief Legal & Governance Officer and internal/external teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of Companies House filings, including confirmation statements, director appointments/resignations, and share allotments
  • Coordinate responses to UBO (Ultimate Beneficial Owner) and KYC (Know Your Customer) information requests
  • Maintain and update statutory registers and company records diligently
  • Support the preparation and circulation of board and shareholder documentation, including resolutions and meeting minutes
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements at all times
  • Liaise with internal teams, external advisers, and regulatory bodies
  • Assist with other administrative and compliance-related tasks within corporate governance

Requirements:

  • ICSA/CGI qualification (part-qualified or studying) is desirable but not essential
  • Prior experience in a company secretarial or corporate compliance role
  • Strong working knowledge of Companies House processes and online filing systems like Diligent Entity Management
  • Experience with UBO/KYC compliance and due diligence documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
