Job Responsibility

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to identified members
  • Active listening and conversation
  • Engage members in ongoing social interaction, activities, or movement
  • Games, puzzles, arts and crafts, reading aloud, watching TV/movies together
  • Spend time with the member for the duration of the shift
  • Alert nurses when the individual needs help or clinical intervention
  • Adhere to the facility's policies and standards
