Job Description

Join Our Team as a Companion in Northern Pittsburgh! Earn Up to $18hr! We’re looking for compassionate and dependable Companions to make a meaningful difference in our client’s daily life. If you’re patient, attentive, and enjoy building genuine, trusting relationships, we’d love to have you join us!

Job Responsibility

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to identified members
  • Active listening and conversation
  • Engage members in ongoing social interaction, activities, or movement
  • Games, puzzles, arts and crafts, reading aloud, watching TV/movies together
  • Spend time with the member for the duration of the shift
  • Alert nurses when the individual needs help or clinical intervention
  • Adhere to the facility's policies and standards

Requirements

  • Full-time or part-time availability, Monday-Friday
  • Must be willing to work in Northern Pittsburgh, PA (15237 Zip Code)
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Willingness to clock in/out electronically
  • Have compassion, reliability, trustworthiness, and honesty
