Job Description:

CareVets Napier is seeking an experienced Companion Animal Veterinarian to join our trusted Hawke’s Bay clinic. This is a full-time position with 1 in 4 Saturdays, with flexibility available for the right candidate. We’re looking for a confident vet who enjoys practising high-quality companion animal medicine and values working within a supportive, well-structured team environment. You’ll be joining a clinic with strong systems, modern facilities, and excellent leadership support from our experienced Lead Vet.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct client consultations and preventative healthcare
  • Perform companion animal surgery and diagnostics
  • Develop and manage treatment plans
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with clients

Requirements:

  • A veterinary qualification registerable in New Zealand
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a companion animal clinic
  • Confidence in routine surgery and medical case management
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional, friendly manner
