Job Description:

A part-time role with purpose, variety, and a genuinely supportive team. CareVets Hobsonville is looking for an experienced Companion Animal Veterinarian to join our growing clinic in a part-time role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident GP vet who enjoys variety, values gold-standard care, and is keen to work in a close-knit, collaborative environment. With a mix of private practice and meaningful SPCA shelter work, this role offers both professional challenge and real fulfilment.

Job Responsibility:

  • GP consultations and routine preventative care
  • General soft tissue surgery
  • Occasional emergency and urgent cases
  • SPCA shelter medicine and welfare work
  • Working confidently both sole charge and within a team

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years’ experience in companion animal practice
  • Confidence working both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, adaptable mindset and willingness to learn
  • A genuine passion for high-quality patient and client care
