Work along side team members to support participants with activities of daily living
Participate in the implementation and monitoring of individualized goal plans
Lead engaging, person-centered programs tailored to diverse abilities
Provide services through on-site, community and outreach-based activities
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in an area directly related to supporting people with developmental disabilities, such as Social Sciences, Human Services, Therapeutic Recreation, or Education
1 – 2 years of work experience with persons with disabilities
Must be able to safely support swim/water activities in community pools – includes entry into chlorinated water
Minimum availability of 2 shifts per week

Valid First Aid/CPR
Class 5 Driver’s License and use of a vehicle for work, OR a Class 4 Unrestricted Driver’s License
Driver’s Abstract showing a good driving record
Non-violent Crisis Intervention Certification
Demonstrated competency in English written and verbal communication
Basic computer literacy
Eligible to work in Canada
Requires physical strength, good balance, mobility, and endurance for recreational activities
