Job Description:

Are you a caring, positive, and motivated individual with a passion for supporting older people in your community? Intereach is looking for a Community Support Worker (CSW) Home Care to join our dynamic Aged Care team in Finley. In this permanent part-time role, you’ll be delivering meaningful, person-centred care to people over the age of 65 — helping them maintain their independence, stay connected, and live fulfilling lives at home and in their community.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering meaningful, person-centred care to people over the age of 65
  • Helping them maintain their independence, stay connected, and live fulfilling lives at home and in their community
  • Provide respite care
  • Provide domestic assistance
  • Provide personal care
  • Provide social support services
  • Provide meal preparation services
  • Empower older individuals to continue their daily routines and feel supported in their own homes

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Home & Community Care, Assistant in Nursing or Nursing
  • Hands-on experience in supporting older people and their carers
  • Understanding of the importance of dignity, empathy, and partnership in care
