Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Community Support Specialist to join our team in Barnegat, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in managing administrative tasks and ensuring excellent service for apartment residents. Your responsibilities will include lease renewals, rent payment processing, and maintaining resident communication to support smooth day-to-day operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and distribute lease renewal notices to residents while tracking responses and coordinating follow-ups
  • Assist in processing lease recertifications in compliance with property policies and regulations
  • Accurately record and monitor rent payments, ensuring financial documentation is up-to-date
  • Provide support to residents with inquiries related to rent payments and offer guidance on available payment methods
  • Collaborate with property management to address delinquent accounts and issue necessary notices
  • Maintain organized resident files, both physical and digital, to ensure compliance and accessibility
  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident communications, fostering positive relationships
  • Work closely with leasing and property management teams to deliver a seamless experience for residents

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within property management or similar industries
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle resident inquiries effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Experience in answering inbound and outbound calls with professionalism
  • Skilled in data entry and maintaining accurate records
  • Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for email correspondence and resident interactions
